Malta’s contrasting landscapes – either rocky and hilly, either flat – make it the perfect place to perform many sports and activities. The great green plains that one can find on the island notably allow the practice of an entertaining yet luxurious game: the golf. This love story started in 1888, when the first game was played on a 9-holes course in a club around Valletta. Nowadays, the sport as well as the club incredibly improved and offer to visitors a relaxing leisure activity, once again in an amazing and unique setting!
Every year, Malta attracts numerous golf-enthusiasts thanks to its nice greens. However, the activity is also open to amateurs willing to discover this fancy amusement. Both beginners and professionals enjoy the Maltese course and if you want to give it a try, well we can help you. HolidayLettingMalta offers an adventurous tour inside the exclusive Royal Malta Golf Club, which celebrated its 125 birthday in June 2013. Its golf course consists of not less than 18 holes, in a very pleasant environment.
Besides having an exquisite golf course, the club provides guests and private members alike with several amenities such as spacious changing rooms with lockers, showers and toilets facilities as well as a Golf Pro Shop. After a final tiring round, you will also get the time to relax at the Putters Inn Bar & Restaurant.
